This guy was just getting a little too loud at 5 in the morning...
Funny story- we decided it was time to get rid of the rooster. He was getting pretty loud and since we bought the chickens for the eggs he wouldn't be much help. Chris and the boys were voting to learn how to "process" him and even got on YouTube to learn how. But Kate and I put up a bit of a fuss (we had already named him) We gave him to a friend who has lots of chickens. He loaded him in his truck in a box and stopped by his daughter's soccer game. Somehow the rooster got out. As he was roaming the neighborhood someone saw him and called animal control. Our friend found out later that he made it safely to a farm up north and instead of claiming him he figured he'd have a good life up there.
