Christmas 2010

We were so lucky to have lots of family come for Christmas this year. Gram and Papa Kevin drove out along with David and Janelle and their cute family. Janelle was so brave making the trip with 2 week old Ellie. We tried our best to stay healthy (which isn't easy with 4 kids, 2 in school) but everyone was healthy so they came! That was, healthy until Christmas day and then we had a bug sweep through the house. I think it eventually got 8 out of 13 of us. Luckily little Ellie didn't catch anything . Despite being sick we still had fun!

I didn't take too many pictures this year but took a ton of video. This is Henry eating the treats through the wrapper.

Don't let this picture fool you- these two were enemies for most of the week. Henry was a little devil around Hazel and Charlotte. I think he got a kick out of their reaction everytime he'd pull their hair, steal the binkie or just generally attack them.

The weather was beautiful the whole week and we were lucky enough to get a zoo pass for Christmas so we thought we better put it to good use!

James kept saying the week before his birthday that he wasn't going to have his birthday on Sunday it was going to be on Monday. Kate kept telling him he couldn't choose and that he had to have his birthday on Sunday. Well, by Sunday I think he had accepted the fact and we had a fun little family party. The next day we took the kids to the indoor water park where they had been wanting to go since we moved here. We all had a lot of fun.

Kate the great who was late but worth the wait turns Eight! Kate's birthday was on the 28th and on the 30th she was baptized! She was spoiled with a special baptism necklace from Gram and Papa Kevin, new scriptures with her named engraved on them from mom and dad, a cute scripture case from Grandma Suzie and Papa Dennis, a CTR ring from Crieghton and Janee, and a CTR necklace from Rich and Holly. Her baptism ended up being on the night of a blizzard but was really nice and it was so nice to have family there. I will post baptism pictures soon.

This picture of Sam pretty much sums up our week :) Most of us were down and out but we still had a lot of fun and can count this Christmas as a memorable one!
