Santa

Our ward does Breakfast with Santa which the kids look forward to for weeks. It's always entertaining to see how the kids will react to Santa. He is so good with the kids and talks to them a couple of minutes each. This year, Sam really didn't want to have anything to do with Santa but he really wanted the candy canes he was giving away. So finally he agreed to sit with Mrs. Clause. Henry really didn't want anything to do with Santa and wouldn't even stand by the Christmas Tree. Kate's list for Santa was an American Girl Doll and a soccer ball. I've never seen James stand for so long in one place. The line was long but James stood in line for at least 1/2 hr and I'm sure his list included anything remote control.

Chris' office also did a party for the kids. This time we didn't give Henry a chance to run away... and Sam would only be in the picture with Santa if Chris was there too. There weren't a whole lot of kids so Santa kept bribing Henry and Sam with more candy canes. Eventually they would just walk up to him and I think we walked away with 15+ candy canes.

Chris and I didn't get to sit on Santa's lap but we did have a really nice adult- only party at church (highly recommend having one of those once a year) and his work dinner party at Rodizio's (yum!)

Love Henry's facial expressions in the last three pics from Chris' work party. Priceless! Way to have the camera ready at exactly the right moment Stacy! Very cute older sister holding a not too pleased Henry. :-)
