We had a quick, fun get away up to Estes Park with the whole family. Chris had a conference for work and the guy he went with offered to let us stay the weekend at his condo. So after a week without Chris the kids and I drove up to Estes Park to meet Chris. I think the kids favorite part of the whole trip was just staying in a new place.
There was a frozen pond at the YMCA where a guy was practicing hockey so we all went out and gave it a try (minus the skates)
We walked down Estes Park main street and passed about 5 different candy shops. We stopped at one and got suckers and then couldn't resist the taffy shop with the taffy puller in the window.
