a couple of weeks ago we were at our library and as we headed out Sam started grabbing a bunch of pamphlets off the wall. I told him to put them back, that we didn't need them, whatever they were. Then I took a closer look... they were these awesome little brochures about all the open space parks in our county. They included maps, histories, names and lengths of trails and information on camping in the parks. So thanks to Sam I picked up a couple to try out. This was the first hike we tried out a couple Saturdays later. It was perfect for the kids (and Hatch).
