The Harvest

The garden was lots of fun this year with less weeds, space for the kids to walk around and "help,"and a wonderful fence to keep it all safe. Sam was our official bean picker. He'd take his truck out in the morning and bring in a shirt full everyday for a few weeks. Not pictured are tomatoes that never really turned red (except for a couple handfuls of cherry tomatoes) Some mutant cucumbers that were overtaken by volunteer pumpkins, a plethora of zucchini, beets- enough for 16 jars, a box full of lettuces and lots and lots of peppers!
