The Hunt for the Perfect Christmas tree

Really memories aren't made unless you make an adventure out of what could be the boring same 'ol family traditions. So instead of heading to the local Christmas tree lot we pack up the old bronc and head to the nearest Christmas tree mountain (which ends up being about an hour away.) We trudge through mud and snow, spot local wildlife and then decide that the perfect Christmas tree is indeed on the side of the steep ridge across the ravine. And finally when we reach home with the perfect Christmas tree tied atop the old bronc we realize how tall that perfect Christmas tree is. Not wanting to be accused of wasting we chop some branches, use some to fill in some holes and make some boughs for the front door and alas we step back and realize that indeed we have again made wonderful memories and found our perfect Christmas tree.

How much fun are you guys?!? You definitely put us to shame! We almost went to a farm to cut down a tree, but then I lost all motivation and sent Andrew to Home Depot by himself to get a tree. Lame! It sounds like you guys are doing great! We miss you-
