We drove down to Albuquerque this year for Thanksgiving and were lucky enough to be there for Rafe's baby blessing. He is so cute and I was so happy that we got to see him before he grows up! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at Mom & Dad's with Tyler's family. We played lots of games, ate lots of food and Chris definitely got his fill of football. After a rainy Thanksgiving day the weather cleared up and we took bike rides to the Rio Grande Nature Center and down to the river too. The kids loved to look out for the Sandhill Cranes and imitate Grandma Suzie's crane call. Mom spoiled all the girls and we went to get pedicures (Kate's first- she loved it!) It was so nice to spend time with family and we were reminded again how incredibly blessed we are and how much we truly have to be thankful for.

Chris and Kate on the banana seat in the Land of Enchantment (New Mexico really is kinda pretty in it's own way ;)

Sam soothing a swollen lip after accidentally tasting some Habanero sauce (you have to watch what you pick up and put in your mouth down in Albuqueque)

The River of Lights @ the Albuquerque botanical gardens. It was cold but it was also pretty amazing. The kids had fun and I think Chris did too- you just can't tell by the look on his face :)
