We are all about cheap but we are all over Free! Our friends gave us some free tickets to Lakeside- a ghetto, I mean retro amusement park in Denver. I've driven by lots but it always looked a little too scary. Well, it was free and we couldn't pass it up. Ended up being a ton of fun! The kids loved it and were so excited to ride every ride. No lines, nice weather, pretty scenery- really,who needs Disneyland?
You can just see Kate and James' heads sticking out of the car- I'm pretty sure their eyes were shut tight. They were pretty scared on this ride but thankfully they didn't want to ride the rickety roller coaster behind them. And Chris showing the kids how to ride a roller coaster.
